The pocket money of au pairs in Austria is officially considered to be a salary. Therefore, it is paid at the end of each month as a salary for 19 working hours per week. Au pair in the UK

The UK’s points-based immigration system will not offer a dedicated route for au pairs and one will not be created as part of the new system being introduced on 1st January 2021. It is not legal for au pairs or their prospective employers to abuse the visitor’s route in the way suggested as they receive renumeration in exchange for their childcare services. Anyone behaving in this manner could find themselves subject to law enforcement action, yet there are other immigration routes which may exist for people who may wish to take up these roles.

Au pair in Switzerland
Age Aged between18-30.

Au pairs from EU or EFTA countries have the opportunity, under reasonable circumstances, to extend their au pair stay to a maximum of 24 months.

Language Speak the language of the host family (German or French) or have a good command of English. It's more important that your native language is not the same as the host families. Au pairs who work in Switzerland have to attend a language course, according to which language is spoken where they are staying. The host family is responsible for paying the fees of this course. If the au pair stay lasts a year the language course must consist of 120 hours (around 2-3 hours per week). Private instruction from an individual is only possible in special circumstances.

Your host family is going to schedule your working hours, right after you arrived. It is also important to include all arrangements in your Au Pair contract such as working hours, your time off, pocket money.
Pocket money As an Au Pair in Switzerland you should expect to earn a minimum amount of 500 - 700 CHF net per month. The amount of pocket money changes, according to the age of the au pair and the canton in which they are au pairing. If you are unable to work, you are entitled to continued payment. Holidays and bank holidays are also paid.

Language You speak a bit of German or have a good command of English. Your host family should offer you the opportunity to attend a German language course during your spare time. The same applies to cultural activities. Family will also have to pay a monthly amount of 50 euro for the Au Pair to join a German course.
Hours on duty Up to 30 hours / week 5 - 6 hours / day including babysitting.
Your main responsibility is to look after the children of your host family. Helping with light housework also forms part of your duties. Our tip: talk to your host family in advance about your exact duties. Once in Germany you should set up a daily / weekly schedule with your host family. We recommend listing these duties and including them in your au pair contract before signing it. Working hours. You can arrange your time for doing the household chores according to the family's habits and needs.
Pocket money In Germany, an au pair receives monthly pocket money of €260. In this context, the number of working hours is irrelevant. You are also entitled to your pocket money during your holiday and in case of illness. The Au Pair should open a German bank account once in Germany so the family can transfer the money every month in a very easy and comfortable way.

Language You speak a bit of Spanish and wish to improve your language skills. You should attend a Spanish course to learn the language more effectively. Family will talk to the au pair in Spanish so they can learn Spanish at home as well.
Hours on duty Between 25 - 40 hours / week 5 - 6 hours / day including babysitting. There are no official regulations on how many hours you need to work as an au pair in Spain.
Pocket money In Spain, au pairs receive €70 - €80 / week as pocket money from their host family.

Hours on duty According to Danish legislation, the Au Pair has to work 6 days per week for 3 - 5 hours. Depending on the number of hours per day, it sums up to 18 - 30 hours per week.
Pocket money 4050- 4150 DKK / month for a maximum of 30 working hours / week
The Au Pair will receive a monthly salary of 4050 - 4150 DKK. The money must be paid into the Au Pair’s Danish bank account until the end of every month.
The pocket money may exceed this amount, but please notice that the Au Pair is not allowed to work in Denmark! The Au Pair program is not considered as work and they don’t have to apply for a work permit to join the program.
